If you’ve ever worn one of my pieces, you already know: I don’t do neutral.
I do colour. Bold, joyful, unapologetic colour.
And that love of colour? It runs deep.
I was born and raised in Italy, where colour isn’t just a detail — it’s everywhere. It’s in the sun-faded pinks and ochres of ancient buildings, in market stalls piled high with citrus and flowers, in fashion that never whispers. But even more than that, colour was part of my home, my childhood, and my earliest creative memories.
I grew up surrounded by flowers
My grandparents were florists, so I spent much of my childhood in a whirlwind of scent and colour — peonies, poppies, sunflowers, tulips. There was always something blooming, and I think that shaped my eye for natural colour combinations and the beauty of organic shapes. Nature has always been my first and best teacher.
My mum: a colour icon in 60s dresses
My mum had the most fabulous wardrobe — I still treasure the photos of her in the 1960s, all vibrant prints and bold blocks of colour. She wasn’t afraid to stand out, and she passed that spirit on to me. Colour, for her, was confidence — and that stuck with me.
Crafting was always in my hands
As a child, I was constantly making something. I’d crochet with my grandma and sew tiny outfits for my Barbies. I loved working with my hands and watching ideas come to life. That joy never left me — it just evolved into something bolder, bigger, and more grown-up (though still full of play).
Moving to London: expressing my personality even more
London gave me the freedom to be more me. I saw people expressing themselves through fashion, art, and identity, and I felt inspired to do the same. That’s when my love for handmade jewellery really took shape.
I discovered polymer clay — and everything clicked. It was colourful, sculptural, and incredibly light. It let me make big, bold earrings that didn’t weigh people down. Even better? It’s the perfect material for experimentation. I could try out shapes, textures, and tones quickly, and follow my creative curiosity wherever it led me.
Why I make colour block statement earrings
Today, I design handmade polymer clay jewellery that’s bold, modern, and full of character. I’m especially drawn to colour blocking, because it lets me create strong, graphic pieces that can either match or clash with an outfit — depending on your mood.
